DAY 1

Gangtok Arrival & Acclimatization

Dinner

Arrive in Gangtok from Bagdogra/NJP. Check in to your hotel and spend the evening enjoying mountain views and shopping for warm woolens along MG Marg.

DAY 2

Gangtok to Lachen via Seven Sisters Waterfall & Chungthang

Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Depart early morning on a dramatic drive into North Sikkim. En route, stop at the majestic Seven Sisters Waterfall, Singhik View Point, and Naga Falls. Pass through the confluence of Lachen and Lachung rivers at Chungthang. Reach the quaint hamlet of Lachen (2,750 m) by late afternoon. Check in to your cozy wooden lodge.

DAY 3

Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft) Excursion & Transfer to Lachung

Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Set out at 4:00 AM through the cold desert landscape of Thangu and Chopta Valley to the breathtaking Gurudongmar Lake at 17,800 feet. Marvel at the sacred lake surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan giants. Return to Lachen for lunch, then drive across to the picture-postcard village of Lachung (2,700 m) for an overnight stay.

DAY 4

Yumthang Valley of Flowers, Zero Point & Return to Gangtok

Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Drive to the enchanting Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), carpeted with wild rhododendron forests along the rushing Lachung Chu river. Visit the natural hot springs and proceed to Zero Point (15,300 ft) to touch permanent snow. In the afternoon, embark on the return drive to Gangtok.

DAY 5

Gangtok Souvenir Shopping & Bagdogra Departure

Breakfast

Enjoy breakfast overlooking the misty hills. Pick up Sikkim green tea, organic honey, and prayer wheels before driving down to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your return flight or train.
